Splashdown - PS2

prepair to remember the wave race of the ol' 64 days

Atari, and the people that made, ATV Off road fury go to the water. its alot like ATV on water with some pumped up things. This game is really damn fun. there are a couple of bad things though. 1 i dont think it is possible to do a barrle roll, ya that sucks. 2. the people talking during the race is really bad. 3. in multi-player, there is a game called copy cat, it is very very lame. other than that, this game is kicken. the graphics are wonderful, the control is pretty good, only the camera will just go of into another frame, and you have to change it while race, that should have been point4. the sound track to this is excellent, with songs like, SR-71 "Right Now", Blink 182 "Rock Show", Smashmouth "All Star" a couple Sum 41's and a couple other cool punk songs. I guess this game was only available at a few stores, because of some deal made with like Wal-Mart and Target and a few other stores, so it may be a little harder to find than once thought, it was for me.

Splashdown is a cool game it is kind of challenging though. The multiplayer and arcade is the best. The career is the hard part so many levels. Splashdown beats Wave Race any day. Splashdown is a great game to start with for the PS2.

Better than Wave Race:Blue Storm

I think this game is much better than Wave Race Blue Storm for many reasons.It has better controls,sound and the graphics are great.It is much more fun.I think everyone should rent this,or buy it.

THIS GAME IS AWESOME

i played a demo of ATV offroad fury,and i was hooked just from the demo. This game got my curiousity because i really like playing extreme sports games.Since I couldn't find any demos to check it out,I was going to wait for the review from Gamepro.(luckily my birthday came around)My parents bought Splashdown and i was hooked. I've played virtually every setting (easy medium etc.)I have to say that the review that the editors wrote is accurate in that everything in the game is fine except the sound. Yet the game is so fun that I could care less

this game is pretty sweet. the graphics are very cool. anywayz lets get to the point. this is how i would rate this game 1. graphics-- 4.5 sound-- 3.5 control---- a 4.5 and the fun factor a 4.5 buy this game..
