Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse - PS2

This game is a no no.

Do not be fooled. This game has no relation to the FOX series Dark Angel. Even though the brunette on the cover looks somewhat similar to Jessica Alba, she's really a chick from the 1600's named Anna. This is a basic Diablo clone, but it leaves out all of the great aspects that made Diablo fun. It's strange, this game has been in development for a long time, but it is woefully mediocre and subpar. The graphics, well, this looks too much like a PSone game, which is bad. Even though it's from a bird's eye view, it still looks bad. The sounds are corny. All monsters sound like jack asses and so does Anna. The music is very sappy too. Diablo had a great medivel blend but Dark Angel has, crap. Moving Anna around is pretty easy but all of the other techniques are difficult. I wouldn't purchase this game. If you really want to see it, rent it.

Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse - PS2

seems good..at first

the game seems good at first but then when u play it for about 30 mins you realize its not. its kinda like a diablo/gauntlet hybrid except the towns are not towns. just 5 people in a square and only 2 of the five you can interact and sell/buy stuff to/from. the graphics and sound are all ok but i mean come on,the main point of the game is to upgrade your weapons forever until you fight the lord of darkness..no intro,no cinema's nothing!

They could?a called Dark Angel: Vampire Apocalypse ?Another Day, Another Monster,? but hardline gamers wouldn?t call this well-crafted hack-n-slasher an RPG.
