A good game

I give this game a 4.25 out of 5. The reason is in the beginning it was awesome, but half way through the game it was starting to get repetitive. I actually forced my self to finish it through the repetitive game play. Once you start getting closer to finishing the game, it starts getting more interesting and fun with game play and storyline. For game play it is weird at the beginning, but than you get used to it. Overall this game was good, but still had its own problems though, but still a great game.

Not really a Mickey Mouse game...Or is it???

I needed something different to play, so I just started playing this game. For those of you who haven't played this game, it takes it's roots from the Final Fantasy series. You will see a lot of familiar faces from the franchise, even if Square-Enix has changed their names. Their stories are intertwined with the familiar faces of beloved Disney characters. You play as Sora. He lives on an island with his friends Wakka, Riku, and Kairi. They dream of getting off the island and build a raft. The night before the day they plan to leave the island is destroyed and Sora is seperated from his friends. He eventually teams up with Donald Duck and Goofy who have left the Magic Kingdom in search of the King (Mickey Mouse). Their adventures take them through the landscapes and they meet characters of such memorable Disney films as 101 Dalmations, Alice in Wonderland, Hercules, Snow White, and Dumbo. They have to fight the Heartless who are causing trouble throughout the many Worlds of Disney.

This game is pretty simple, you only have two action buttons to deal with, one to make Sora jump and the other to make him fight. You progress throug ht the game by solving puzzles, helping out a character, finding useful items and fighting the enemies. After completing a stage, you move to the next world by flying your flying the Gummi Ship. I found that the customization of your ship is a bit confusing, as I am sure others also have. It seems overly complicated far more so than any normal game that requires you to customize a vehicle, and why would you need to do this is beyond me. Another thing that is lacking is a map system of any kind. You are stuck with trying to remember where each door or passage leads to. It's not really complicated, but it would have made game play a lot easier. Also, you can only control Sora; Donald and Goofy act independently of their own accord. I found it most useful, if either of them lose all their energy, to let them alone and not waste potions or other curatives on them, they will eventually revive on their own. The camera system could be a little tighter, but it's not totally broken. There is much to do in this game, and you are able to go back to previous worlds, that's a good thing for those who may have missed something on previous trips. The replay value on this game would be in the range of moderate to high.

Inter-racial Fun

I really enjoyed it. Great game play, awesome graphics, and the storyline wasn't too bad. It was pretty corny, but what else would you expect from something involved with Disney? In fact, you could say that Disney kind of pushed it's boundaries with this.
