Game Description

Blood Omen 2 by Eidos for PS2 is the sequel to Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, which was released in 1996 on PlayStation. Blood Omen 2 is a 3D action adventure game where you assume the role of the vampire Kain. A compelling story drives you through huge environments and challenges your gameplay skills in combat, puzzle solving, stealth, and exploration. With each success, you achieve new dark powers that grant Kain the ability to access treacherous new areas to explore and the power to face stronger, more aggressive enemies.

Blood omen 2 was the best of kain in my opinion if you like blood n guts and the ability to rip someones heart out and show it to them then blood omen 2 is the game for you

I gave this game a 3.0 because the game is just ok. First off at the beginning it was very slow with that one vampire chick (man I forgot her name) telling u how to fight and so on an so forth... Some people like to watch the cutseens, but I just so happen to not like the cutseens... in some games I do but not in games as boring as this one.. I usually like challenging games like this, but this didn't really flout my boat. The fighting kinda gets old after a while. The reason why I gave this game a good of a score as I gave it was because I love the rest of the series, and I love vampires! If this was the first game I played of the series, then I probably wouldn't have tried the rest of the games. To sum it up, this game had some great perts and some lame parts.. Thanx for reading!

Why? Because I said so! They messed up so bad that they said that this game isn't part of the Lagacy of Kain timeline.

What happened here? They really should have used the same engine from Soul Reaver. The graphics are very bland along with the repetitive level design. There is some fun to be had here if you feel like pressing on through the levels. Kain is cool but even he doesn't look good in this game. One thing I did like was Kain's abilities like hiding in the mist. If you want class grab hold of defiance where they finally do Kain justice.

better than soul reaver 2 in some ways

i enjoyed this game because, unlike soul reaver 2, it actually yielded a good ending. i never got tired of making kain drink blood. the environments were interesting and engaging. teh only problem was the quality of the graphics in the cut-scenes, which were not technically up to par with either of the soul reavers. if you enjoy experiencing the viewpoint of villains, then you must get this game.
