Rayman 2 Revolution - PS2

Rayman Classic

As you can tell from my other reviews I don't like to give a game a perfect score of 5. I may be biased with certain types of games like shooters and platformers. This game deserves a five and then some. The worlds are lush and full of color and interesting characters. You just want to stand there and admire the view. This game is so much fun to play you loose track of time. The learning curve is perfect and you never feel like you were cheated in death. It can be hard to find the game but it's worth the trouble. Be warned this is almost a carbon copy of the PS1 classic Rayman "The Great Escape." I didn't know that until I bought Revolution but even so it's a blast. Find it, buy it and enjoy!

Rayman 2 Revolution - PS2

That armless/legless/neckless hero is here!

Actually, this game isn't really new at all. It is advanced from the PSone and N64 versions titled Rayman 2: The Great Escape. This improvment is extrordinary. In this game, the story goes a bit like this: The land is in danger. The Robo-pirates are taking it over and capturing all of the hero's that can save it. Including Rayman. After a while, Rayman is freed and he meets the Teensies. They can warp him from world to world. Anyways, Rayman must save all of his friends and stop the Robo-pirate leader, Captain Razorbeard, before they conquer the world. Many added sequences were added and it is more captivating than The Great Escape. The graphics have undergone the PS2 treatment. All of the graphics are beautiful and big world are good too. The soundtrack is very well composed and voice acting a marvelous. Another change is Rayman can speak English, in Great Escape, they all spoke a fictional language. The control is easy to use and it won't do you wrong (most of the time). Overall, the fun factor is very high. I would definately recommed this game. It is fun, for all ages.

Call me stupid.

This game is fun, has cool graphics and all, but I just get stuck too much. It's frustrating. If you want an easy platformer buy Klonoa, if not get this.

rayman revolution

Rayman revolution is a good game, but it is not one of the best out there. Graphics: 5.0 The graphics look very good. There is no slowdown. Sound: 4.5 The sounds are good, but could have been better. Seems a little dull to me. Controll: 5.0 The controlls were excellent, easy to manuver ray around. Fun Factor: 4.5 It is a very Good game, but I think that it is too short, maybe its because I am used to playing games like DK64,or Banjo Kazooie.

Rayman 2 Revolution may not lead to the destruction and rebirth of American society, but little tweaks and enhancements ensure that it?s the best version of the limbless wonder?s stellar 3D platformer.
