Silent Scope - PS2

save your money

One of the first games that i bought for the PS2, and i must say, awful. It was terrible. I wanted it b/c i, like so many, played the arcade version which was awesome. This, though, needs the lightgun which may help, but probably won't.

Silent Scope is fun and offers some unique,challanging gameplay that is fun for the arcades,but I wouldnt buy the console version. In Silent Scope's case it would be better to go to the arcades and play it a couple of times than spent 30bucks on it for a game system, know Time Crisis 3 on the other hand...

its freakin hard so little time control kinda sucks graphics are great graphics 4.5 control 3.0...needs a light gun sound 4.0

shooting people in the head and looking for chicks in windows

this is a simple game. all you have to do is take the little crossair and shoot the bad guys right?! Wrong! theres a time limit and theres little chicks in the windows. Now this game was pretty good i have to admit, but it does get kinda boring after a while and its pretty hard to beat, so if you want to see the ending your going to have to take a lot of time trying to get there. The thing that sucks is that theres no 2 player option. the graphics are outstanding, no blockiness or posters that you cant read. the people in this have a kind of sense that your there when you shoot someone and theres a bit of strategie in this game. controls are pretty hard to use but it just takes time to get into the game and get used to the controls. the sounds in silent scope are the best lately that ive heard and the gun sounds as if you were right there using a surround sound system. This game should be a best seller in the next oh... nah, not a best seller game id say.

Just as good as the arcade version

One may think that the controls messed up because of lack of a gun, but if you try it out, the way the controls are handled make up for it! Optional blood is a nice touch. Minor setback, it's too short, around 15 minutes.
