Blacksite: Area 51

A normal FPS at first glance but playing it shows it has more depth than your typical shooter. More of an arcade gunner it still has its ups. Amazing visuals, and audio. The gameplay is good but it can get repititeve after a while.
A few moments will scare you or startel you. For example on one of the levels a young child is screaming, when you run towards the kid, a reborn soldier (who at that point looks like a shadow) grabs the kid and runs. When you rush to the spot you'll see the reborn holding the screaming kid, hop a fence. Moments like these create a unique atmosphere like F.E.A.R. A few downs though are the lack of weapons. You get a pistol, M4 carbine with reflex scope, a XM8 sniper variant, and a plasma shotgun and a plasma rifle. Their are also a very large lack of different enemies. Reborn scouts and soldier and a few alien types. It uses the Unreal 3 engine which enables some really neat real time destruction scenes. If you are a fan of fast paced shooters, check out this game. At the time I wrote this review, the game is about twenty bucks. Well worth it.
