Play it on the PC
This was meant for the PC. The multiplayer game TF2 is one of the best, and a true CS:S competitor. Portal will leave you puzzled for hours. HL2: Ep2 is another great game in the saga. A really good bang for your buck, too- comes with Half life 2, half life 2 episode 1 + 2, TF2, and portal. All for $40.

Orange Box Review
Yes, I do think the game is great, but I think A little bit more content could make it better. The multiplayer is really fun too; and portal, it's addicting just messing around with it. A lot more pros and cons, but this is what I think.

Best played on the PC
Valve's compilation The Orange Box is a schizophrenic's delight: it offers a new chapter in the Half-Life 2 saga, a wonderful multiplayer game in Team Fortress 2, and the spatial puzzler Portal, which went on to be a critical darling and a minor hit in its own right. As a package, it's a bit of a mess. Taken individually, each of the games has lots to offer. I still think it would've made more sense to offer each of these as download games -- I feel like the bundle concept just doesn't work well for this selection. Still, one of the best values in 2007 and a compilation with a lot to offer.

OMG!!!!!!!! The Orange Box is so freakin awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!
Orange Box. Even the name sounds great. The 5 games that come in it are Half-Life 2, Episode 1 and 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. Portal itself is better than most games i have played. I finally got to play Episode 1(been dying to play it for some time now) and it is rock solid. Hardly a thing wrong with it. As for Episode 2, it too kicks major ass. One of the best games i have ever played and i've played a ton of them. Teamfortress 2 is so fun and addicting, it should be illegal. Seriously, it is one of the best multiplayer games i have ever had the priviledge of playing. And need i say anything about Half-Life 2? The Orange Box is the best $50 you will ever spend on video games. I guarentee it.
