Warhammer...the originators of mutli-class mayhem
Believe me guys, Warhammer has been out since the 1980's. These people are no strangers to story-telling and gut wrenching warfare. This game has 7, count them 7 races! Each are unique and make the best of their abilities. Following the same mechanics used in the two previous games it spices up the 40,000k universe with new mission story-telling and new units that gives each race a reason to play with. Want to play with the Imperial Gaurd? Just dish out the tanks and men and prepare to overrun the enemy. The Tau? Make a small, but powerful force of technological soldiers and take them out when they arent looking. The Necrons? With only one resource, start slow but if your enemies make the dear mistake of letting you live they will pay with their keyboards slamming the ground once you have your invincible army standing. This game is outstanding. Although the gamers know they will have another game after this (remember they are missing the tyranids), we will have time to play this game until we see each races ending. Graphics are still great, the sound makes you want to go outside and assemble little kids into making armies and fighting each other, and the PC is great for RTS's. The only thing I am waiting for is the ability to create heroes by cusomization or heroes in the actualy stories and putting more of the Warhammer 40,000k story into effect, such as Abaddon the Despoiler or the Ork invasions of Armegeddon. If your not familiar, trust me you will be hooked to this game. Overall this game is not only an Expansion Pack, but also a game that revitalizes the Warhammer RTS genre.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Crusade
Usually, expansion packs don't offer much beyond a few unit additions and extra levels. It's sort of like adding fries to your hamburger: it's a great accompaniment but it lacks substance.
