This game is great, there's tons to do assassinate kings, marry princes, take over towns and much more. I started assassinating like crazy XD.You can choose to fight in historical battles or attack any kingdom whenever. In the Kingdoms expansion you can choose from approximately 20 kingdoms. The battles are epic
and leveling up your spy is awesome did i mention multiplayer XD.overall this game has awesome graphics addictive gameplay and real historical battles medieval 2 total war is definitely a keeper.

Medieval II: Total War - PC

The real skinny on Total War

This game has SO much potential. It's just a shame the people at SEGA didn't try to develop it. I had hoped that the HUGE (try breaking them down a little) 613 meg patch would improve it. It didn't. The worst aspect of the game is that the AI has all the control. If you waste three turns moving reinforcements up-the AI gets to control them and it's going to either leave them on the edge of the screen where they can't lep (you can't even SEE them) or it will move them in front of the enemy crossbows and stand them there till they are all dead. And what's with the stalled queues? I'm the most powerful nation with the best finances and yet i can't produce one troop of cavalry to help myself while a country with two cities pushes out full armies like crap out of a cow? There is NO way that I could turn out a full army (both rows) each move. At it's best this game could be very chess like..instead it's like rolling loaded dice. You depart from a ship-the AI's army can cross half a continent while you can't move over a step. I gave this game a lotta play time trying to find a way around the AI. If you DO get ahead then some of the best troops in the game will be decimated by peasant militia....it's just frustrating and disappointing. First time in my life I've ever thrown my mouse across the room.
