Welcome to the Family

The Godfather was a mystical blend of violence, traditional Italian family values, and digitally recreated scenes that almost seem like history to movie buffs. The Godfather places you in the shoes of "The Player" Trapani, an young Italian who lost his dad years ago to mob violence. It is Connie Corleone's wedding day, and like the movie Don Corleone grants Mrs. Trapani's wish to take her matured son under his wing. Much of the game is driving long distances around the breathtaking 1940s New York City, from Brooklyn to New Jersey, as well as earning your way up the ladder in the Corleone Family. Familiar characters appear throughout the game, including the entire Corleone Family, as well as new faces to the story such as Marty "Monk" Malone. The game's sandbox design allows you to advance at your own pace, while taking down other rackets and completing hits for the family. Weapons in the game are limited, from a .38 snub nose to a double barrelled shotgun. Explosives are used to bomb other family's rackets, as well as use for weapons against a Family's Compound. This game was an awesome game to play for anyone out there, fan or not.
