Summary

Game Description

Blood for the PC was the latest in the line of corridor shooters to pop-up in the wake of Duke Nukem and Quake. Described as Bloody, violent, and tasteless, Blood is an un-PC first-person shooter, where you play a man who digs his way out of an early grave to take revenge on the people that put you there.

Blood - PC

"The best blood fest ever!"

This rivals the actiona dn excitment of Duke Nukem 3D and Doom 2. A must get for MS-DOS action fan gamers!

Blood - PC

A Rare Gem and An Absolute Must-Play!

To be honest, I downloaded this game when it was abandonware. Soon after, it got copyright protected again and now the only way to obtain it is illegal downloading or Ebay. But whichever way you get it (let's hope ebay), you will never see another DOS game like it again. This game far surpasses Doom and maybe Doom II, it lives up to Quake, Wolfenstein, Resident Evil 4, and countless other gaming legends. The game itself is a very violent and gory FPS with themes centered on horror movies and books...that i've never read or seen. Blood is most like Duke Nukem than anything else partially because the protagonist (or should we say antagonist) speaks in lines of relatively cheesy and always amusing dialogue. However, Blood is much less profane than DN, but makes itself up for that by absolutely drenching the game with...you guessed it: blood. Enemies can be burnt alive, decapitated, electrocuted, disentegrated, and, in the case of the Life Leech, have their souls completely ripped out of their bodies. Blood has some of the most nasty weapons i've ever seen: sawed-off 2 barrelled shotgun, tommy gun, napalm launcher, bundle of dynamite, a spray can and lighter, an electric mini-gun, the Life Leech...and last but most certainly not least, the Voodoo Doll. There are two other kinds of explosives, but I think i'll let you find them ;) The game is endlessly creative and fun, with level design great enough to leave Quake veterans breathless. If you are looking for a terrifying, gory, and difficult FPS...look no further. Seek this game out and hunt it like a dog, if you don't you will be VERY sorry you did!
