Battlefield 2 - PC

Better on the console

I love this game on the 360 but its a completely different game on the PC. First off, no singlepalyer. that sucks. no lie. Another thing is that it dosnt have the same rank system9Which i like) and it dosnt have the same cool levels. no lie. this sucks oh well still good fun muliplayer. Recommend to rent but not to buy(or just buy in console)

Good, bad, or ugly?

Well all to be honest. Singleplayer is a standard FPS on a sub-par level. few maps, few bots. Multiplayer is the center piece of this title. With awards, rankings unlocks and more, the online play can be quite addicting, even though some times the tactics used may be quite annoying. The biggest downside is the game is quite the system hog, leaving many to "tweak" XP and their graphic cards to optimize gameplay, many will see the ugly in order to get the good, which could make them feel Battlefield 2 is bad. Although it has it's pitfalls over all not a bad game.

Squads and Medals That Compel.

Another FPS you say? Then you would be right! But the Unique Twists of this FPS keeps people playing a lot longer than the normal. The Rank system adds a Layer many Other FPS lack, in that you can activly compare your "scores" to your friends, and enemies across the world. Brag about the multitude of Purple hearts you have or the Sheer amount of Ribbons you've amassed. Not to mention the Unlocks which let you choose how you play a little bit due to your efforts. The Squad System really Sets the game apart though, for with squad leader spawning, the Medic and Support classes abilities to reload and heal squad members, and the fact a well-organized squad can totally change the tide of battle make BF2 an excellent Game to keep playing years into the future... Or untill Bf2142 comes out =P.

This is the best game I have ever played. The action is awesome and the persistent character scoring system makes you keep playing. Hats off to the creators of this game

Battlefield 2 for pc

I have to disagree. The gameplay is the only thing that keeps me in a game of BF2. There are some real jaw dropping moments in this game. The problem lies with the lack of communication between teams. Whether playin on line or solo...I feel like Im playin solo.
