Manhunt - PC

Not for the faint of heart

As the title says this game is not intended for children. Even for me, this game is more than a little disturbing, but don't let that distract you from the technical excellence. Manhunt features a inmate who is sentenced to death, but gets a second chance. The fellow who saved him wants something back in return: footage of sheer violence. He films your every move and critiques you as if this was some sort of movie. The atmosphere is what you would expect from a storyline as dark as this; scary and incredibly tense. The graphics are decent, if a little bland, but the animation is some of the best I've seen. Also the effects are astounding; bloods sprays the screen during fights and the camera has effects such as becoming fuzzy and shaky that mimics a real camera. The gameplay features two ways to approach a level: stalk your enemies in the shadows or fight them mano-a-mano. Either way, try to be as violent as possible to get the most amount of praise from the director. This game shows that you can have a controversial game, yet have it be a critical sucess.

Manhunt

The most violent game I have ever played! I can't play it while the kids are at home. It is that bad! I love it! Great story line. Keeps you interested and keeps you dying to know what happens next.
