* Star Wars Galaxies: An Empir Devided is one hell of a game. For those who wish to try the free trial, they download 1.5 gigs of goodness (Ive been there it takes a while). Coming into the game you dream of becoming a Jedi and touring the galaxy with your buddies, and with A LOT of work, thats exactly what happens. At start though, especially without friends by your side, the going is rough. Without patience and extreme spirit you will falter. After all, dreaming of lightsabers and getting a large metal axe (in a sci-fi game) isnt encouraging. Going onward, (if you go this far at all), the real fun begins. You develop a good understanding of your chosen profession (s) and learn how best to use them. You begin favoring a side in the "Galactic Civil War." Will you join the powerhouse of the Empire or brave the dangers of becoming a Rebel? Going through this game, you may never see a single Jedi, which one may believe stays true to the Star Wars Universe. The gameplay is shakey at first, but is pure solid fun once you get past the crust. The controls are completely up to you. You can customize the controls EXACTLY to your liking or choose a preset such as FPS style or EQ style. The Graphics are gorgeous compared to other MMORPGS of this day and age. You will want a load of RAM and some hefty video card support to back it or else your frame-rate will lure you to the dark side. The sound is amazing, weather you are listening to the music and dance of the cantina or watching as the energy from your enemies weapons sizzles in the sand beside your cover. This game is the first game ive ever reviewed here : ) , but I still award it the not so famous PANDAS CHOICE AWARD*

SWG: Wait a year

wait a year for them to try to get out of the current BETA test that players are paying for. Many bugs are still active from the june launch and with the lack of customer service, noone knows if they are ever going to get fixed. Servers are not even reliable yet. IF you can get into the game and avoid the crashes, the game IS incredible! The graphics are UBER, the sights are spectacular, and if you get tired of one planet just shuttle off to another for a time. Want to see Rancors? goto dathomir. Want to see the rebel base from ANH head over to yavin 4. If they ever get the dissapering items, houses, factorys bug fixed, even I may return to that galaxy far far away.
