Did Frank Agree to this?
I have always liked the dune universe. Dune is a great game, but it lacks in maney areas. The graphics could be better, but do graphics really matter when your kicking Harrkonenn Ass. Westwood is still good at making rts titles, but I still like the good old fashion graphics from Red Alert 2. I don't like this 3D crap.

A little more than the average RTS
Emporer: Battle for Dune is a game that has much to offer 3D graphics, good storyline (Given you've played Dune 2000) but I has a downside to. Oviously all RTS's are now done with 3D graphics it's devloped to keep gamers intrested, but most computers made in or before 98' can't play them (or very good at the least) and dune needs the same, the game have great effects like the huge sandworms that can devour an army, the building have great textures and the interface works the same as C&C, really my favorite thing to do is luanching huge missles. But if there is one thing Emporer has that makes it seem less than perfect is multiplay it is impossible to play with a dail-up (I have cable my freind has dail-up) but you don't have don't buy a second copy becuase it has three game discs which also is useful for the massive single player campagins. Emporer is fun, and it isn't another carbon copy of starcraft, get this one while you can.

good game
Yes this game was good. The graphics for this game were pretty good! 4.5 for the grpahics. The sound was also pretty good. 4.5 for the sound. The controls felt good, but not perfect. 4.0 for the controls. There is a lot of action in this game. So i say if you have not played this game yet then do so now.

Good but not That good
Emperor was a good game, but it wasn't all that wonderful. It was basically Command and Conquer with different units and forces. If you were to compare Command and Conquer with Emperor, u might find too many similarities, but it is still a good game. The graphics were nice and it was very satisfying to see your own huge army destroy your enemy. The controlls were alright, but the problem that i disliked the most was the inability to attack an area, like in star craft, rather than only being able to click one unit to attack. Also, the missions get a little redundant and have few MAJOR special tasks. A lot of the time u just have a protect one of the other subhouses u want to ally with, which i must say is a strong point of emperor. All in all, Emperor was a fun game, from just pulverising the enemy to running as fast as you can from the Giant Sandworms of the Planet Arrakis. I would give it a B+.
