Madden NFL 2001 - PC

Helmet to Helmet Action on the PC

Graphics: The smooth player models are magnificent with the addition of small details such as the helmet stadium light reflections and the jersey wear and tear as the game progresses. The boxy player models from the PS and N64 versions are replaced by very realistic models that clearly show how far gaming has progressed on the PC. The graphics are in the top tier of all recent football games such as the PS2 version and the NFL 2K on Dreamcast. Sound: The play by play done by John Madden and Pat Summerall give it the look and feel of an authentic television game. When equipped with the right computer the game begins to send you in a football fantasy land with all the extras a game really needs. Gameplay: The game has everything that I could expect from a PC game and more. The only thing I wish the game had was a cool halftime show such as press coverage, field show, etc. The season and franchise modes make the game last well into the future and supply you with a game you can keep. Control: When equipped with a good controller and a fast computer the game is by far the best experience available on a PC. The game has the same look and feel of any 128 bit console game on the market and more. Sony and Sega better begin to adjust there values on there upcoming games because the PC is beginning to make "good" football games.

?

If u want fun buy this game. This is my favorite sports game besides NFL 2K2 for dreamcast. But this is definitely the best for the computer. In this game it makes it easy to create players and set rosters and when you are beating a team no matter how they are rated in the game they will seem to get tougher and that is what i like in that game. the graphics are awesome too. ~~SCoRpIO388
