Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - PC

BS Gaming Review

BSG gives this tittle an 8.7 This game was fun to play.In this game Russia has invaded the U.S. and you go to major cities and secure them by building a base training people build tanks ans in one level in Hawaii you need a strong navy.So this game gives you a solid view of being a commander.Graphics suck!We know what you are thinking"An RTS always has bad graphics!"No no no!In fact Army Men RTS has good graphics for an RTS.But if you look at the Pentagon and put a GI next to it, you will find out the your guys are huge or buildings are small. This game's gameplay was O.K.Sound is good but nothing you haven't seen before. This game is good if you are into Army RTS games. Also you need to be careful.Brandon hasn't beaten it yet because when he gets far and tries to load it says that there is an error and it needs to abort and it does that every time you load.Yuri's Revenge is the same thing except you face a bunch of mind control people.

This Is Game Is Quite Fun

THis game was quite nice to play back in the day, especially when I found out how to change the way the game played with the .rules document.

The interface is very intuitive and the single player and storyline is very interesting, so much that it is more fun at times to play through the storyline than to play the multiplayer, which is also quite fun. It is easy to spend hours on this game and then spend many more hours the next week even years later.

I would not recommend going out and getting this game, but I would recommend getting the Command and Conquer: The First Decade because it includes other great games from the Command and Conquer series...this game should be the top of your list for reasons to get tha compilation.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 - PC

Still the best one!

Now that I have seen C&C Generals and also played Renegade and The Emperor: Battle for Dune, no doubt these are good RTS games. But none of them can beat Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge. Still these are on No.1 position. Though the graphics are not comparative to the new ones, because it was released 3 years ago, but good enogh to make you addictive. But graphics are secondary things, the main thing is game play and that is still best of all. This is the most addictiive game ever made. If you have played it, you know this, but if you haven't played, then really you have not played the BEST war game ever made. Go and buy it today. The price is very low, both Red Alert 2 and its expansion pack Yuri's Revenge comes in one pack, "Red Strike", for just $19.99. This game Rocks!!! ...... PERFECT!
