Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force - PC

Great Multiplayer, Storyline Could Have Been Better

This game was great...one problem that was my fault was my computer was not powerful enough to run it so I had to wait nearly a year when I got a new computer. The game was worth the wait I had to endure.

The multiplayer was a very enjoyable frag fest, which I spent much more time on the single player, which was not as fun my comparisson.

This game is worth it, but since this game came out nearly 6 years ago, it would be hard to recommend it over the new FPS games that are out now. But if you don't care if it is slightly outdated and you love Star Trek, you should get this game.

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force - PC

The Elite of the Star Trek Franchise

Trekies have something to be happy about. A game that finally makes the universe of Star Trek appealing, Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force. It's a fast action FPS that focuses more on runin and gunnin than, well, jumpin and flip switchen. After the Voyager destroys an unkown vessel, the ship and it's crew have been sucked into a vortex and landed in a ship graveyard, and can't escape. Since you happen to be a member of the newly formed Hazard Team formed by the famous Tuvok, it is primarily up to you to save the crew from an unkown but powerful enemy. The action in this game is fast. Since it relys on the aforementioned runnin and gunnin the game will never leave your eyes droopy. Although there are a few levels that emphasize stealth, it still won't punish the wouldbe spy too harshly. The AI in the game isn't fantastic, but they do provide a healthy dose of challenge. Reactions of pirates and borg are different from one another and appropriate. And thanfully your teammates follow along well and manage to stay out of your way. But don't expect them to kill more than 1 or 2 creatures to a level. Every environment in the game including Voyager look fantastic. Although there are only a few "wow that looks cool" moments in the game, you can't help but praise the developer's attention to detail in the game. Every room in Voyager has been recreated down to the coat rack, er, proton neutralizer thing. The rooms also come with members of the crew lounging around included, who use scripted events to talk to one another. The actors from the series also lend their voices to the game. Giving an even greater feel of importance as the captain asks for your oppinion. Enemies you will face have personality as well. You can really feel the tradition steeped in each race you come across. Although the levels in the game require you to run from one side of a level to another, the fast paced action, good voice acting, a striking score, and great level design make this game a cut above.

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force - PC

The Star Trek game I've played.

ST: Voyager: Elite Force is the best Star Trek game I've played since ST: The 25th Anniversary on PC. While there have been lots of great ST games (Such as Armada I and II, and Klingon Acadamy), Elite Force beats them all. The actors from the show lend their voices to the main characters, except Jeri Ryan (Who plays 7 of 9 on the show), which sucks, since Seven is one of my favorite charecters. Still, the game is great, and Trek fans will enjoy walking along the familier cooridors of Voyager, and will love seeing Voyager's key locations, such as the bridge, engineering, and sickbay. And, for the hardcore Trekkies, there's a level based on an episode from the original series. I won't spoil it, but, I'll give you a clue. Look for a certain bearded Vulcan.

Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force - PC

Not A fan of "STAR TREK VOYAGER" in TV but.....

.....In PC, I really really like it!!! Although the single player mission is quite short, playing with your buddies in multiplayer makes this game PERFECT!!!
