Summary

Game Description

The Sims by Maxis for PC is a simulation where you create and control people. Choose from a selection of pre-generated Sims or create your own (dys)functional family by distributing character points to each individual member. But be careful, because there are always trade-offs -- a happy artist may be a bad cook or an energetic bachelor may have a terrible temper. To be happy, they have to maintain relationships with other Sims and have time for recreation. Invite others Sims over for a BBQ or entice new neighbors to move in next door. Who knows there may even be that special someone for your single Sims. Flirt and pursue a relationship. In the end, only you have the power to make your Sims truly happy.

The original is still the best! If you have never played The Sims you create characters, get them jobs, and watch the chaos ensue. Pit your characters against each other or make them fall in love...basically play God. Direct your sims in the most minuscule tasks and even watch them pee. Why is this game so good you ask? And my answer: who doesn't like to play God?

The First Sims Game I Played

The Sims has gotta be my favorite of all The Sims games that I played and how I discovered The Sims was I was stuck at home with a bad cold and Mom had just gotten Dad The Sims as a surprise and once I was well enough and recovered from my cold I came into the living room I spotted my father playing The Sims and I asked my father what he was playing and he told me he was playing The Sims and he asked me if I would like to try it and I said yes. And I fell in love with the amazing gameplay and neat things you could do with your families in The Sims and Dad was so amazed at how well I played The Sims and he soon gave The Sims to me. My favorite part of The Sims is the Create-A-Family feature and I had loads of fun creating my own families and naming them too and this part I think is the best part of The Sims in my opinion. I loved The Sims so much that I have now graduated to The Sims 2 and love that as well. I think Will Wright who created The Sims really hit a home run with The Sims and I think it's the main reason why The Sims was the bestselling PC game of all time and really spun off such cool expansion packs. No wonder why it's no secret that The Sims is the bestselling PC game to come out in years. If you are a Sims fan or a newbie to The Sims Series I recommend you start with The Sims and you will be shocked at how great a game The Sims is, Rather
