SWAT 3: Close-Quarters - PC

How Do You People Miss Great Games Like These?

SWAT 3 Close Quarters is a great FPS for the PC. This game is definitly not for gamers that don't use their heads and try to shoot everything in their sights. This tactical FPS involves the city of Los Angeles as you go into difficult situations throughout the entire city limits. Arresting criminals, resuing hostages, disarming explosives, and much much more is what have to do in this game. Somewhat like the Rainbow 6 games, except you are more into the mission itself, (though no pre- mission ploting is involved like in R6). SWAT 3 C-Q is definitly worth the money you have to dish out, unless you do not want to be responsible for a team of soldiers, I suggest you play Project: IGI for PC as well, being that it is the best game in my opinion of 2001. I give SWAT 3 C-Q a 4.5 in Graphics, a 5 in Sound, mostly because the game is so realistic with every little noise made. I give the Control a 4, and the Fun Factor a 4.5, enjoy this game.. don't miss out!

Sierra has finally gotten SWAT right. As a single-player game, SWAT 3: Close Quarters Battle stands proudly alongside Thief as one of a very few unconventional 3D shooters--one that rewards caution, patience, teamwork?and respect for life.
