Game Description
Battletoads for the NES by Tradewest is a side- and vertical-scrolling action game where you play as one of three titular characters, Rash, Zitz, and Pimple. Battletoads is famous for two particular play aspects: the ramped-up difficulty of gameplay and the exaggerated character animations, where the Battletoads' limbs change into different objects--anvils, giant boots, ram horns, and more--when the fatal blow if delivered to an enemy. In addition to beat-em-up levels, players also climb and jump their way through several "race" stages.
