Mortal Kombat by Acclaim for the Genesis is a 2D one-on-one fighting game, where you can play as one of seven fighters who compete in a deadly tournament. MK features two kicks, two punches, and a block button. However, the big draw is the game's blood and violence -- most notably, the Fatality finishing moves where you can destroy a defeated opponent in a gory and nasty way.
