begginings of the wii?
Donkey kong jungle beat is a platform game made by nintendo for the gamecube, it has one major difference to the usual platformers in that it is controlled by the Gamecube bongo controller, taping the right drum makes you go right, the left drum goes left, both together makes you jump and clapping your hand grabs, in this case the controller is extremely well implemented, and i cannot stress how well, when i first heard about this i really didn't think it would work, but i was completely wrong, it works perfectly and makes this game one of the most immersive platformers ever made, onto the level design, which is virtually always first rate, the levels are all very imaginative and constantly, new things are being thrown into the mix. Overall this is actually a truelly classic game, and it really shows the direction nintendo were headed for when they made the wii.

Call of the Jungle
DK's latest outing brings a new level to the traditional 2D genre and, for the most part, it works. The graphics are stunning, the music is good but the fun factor varies with each play. Given that each I play the game, the amount of time does vary. Still, as tiring as the game tends to be in long run, it does make for an interesting upper body work out. Great game that displays a unique playing style. The video game world needs more fresh ideas.

Review:
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat
Donkey Kong Jungle Beat is an enjoyable bongo drumbased romp that's almost limited by the player's personal stamina.
