true crime...not much time
My cousin had the game for ps2, i enjoyed it. the game was marked down at a local retail store, so i decided i'd use some leftover gift cards from christmas. before i get started, overall this is a good. nice action, easy car handling, and some funny insults being exchanged throughout our main characters missions. there are four types of missions: fighting, driving, stealth, and shoot em up. fighting is simple. highest button is high kick, middle button is mid- punch, and lowest button is low kick. then the button off to the side is grapple, which i dont use too often. you can learn some sweet but difficult to pull off finishing attacks at the dojo's, with the buttons in a relatively easy area. driving is superb, i love, my favorite part of the game. you can shoot cars from your car, too! handling is pretty responsive and some cars handle better. again you can unlock new cars in bonus missions and unlock some car tricks, like speed boost and ride on two wheels. driving is easy, but when you have to tail a person, you'll get too close and blow your cover or two far away and lose the bad guy. stealth is, well, aggravating. it takes a lot of tries to learn where the bad guys hide and where the noise making obsticles are. you can knock out a guy to help your good cop rating, or break the guys neck and get a bad cop rating. but the missions after stealth are always fun... kill the bad guy missions go by way too quick. they are fun though, run and gun is all the strategy you need. if you put all the shooting levels in a row lengthwise, you would be over in about 10 minutes tops. but you can upgrade your gun to the extreme, all the way to hollow point bullets the destroy cars in three well placed shots tops. in conclusion, i like the game, im working on finding the 30 hidden bones so i can unlock snoop dogg, because the game was beaten in 4 days. dont spend 50 bucks on it, maybe 20. but instead you should rent the game and give it a good beatin in 4 days
