Fun but lacking
For those who like the franchise, MP5 is is another solid title in the series. However, the game is lacking some of the elements that made Mario Party great in the first place. The "capsule" system that took the place of item shops is largely irrelevant and honestly makes me want to skip the item gathering process altogether. To put the point bluntly, I don't like spending 10 coins to booby trap a space that opponents may or may not land on. Further, the mini games are somewhat repetitive and lack the inventiveness of earlier titles. They're often little more than "A"-tappers that take place in different environments. All in all, a fun game but not the best in the series.

its' a me again mario for the 5th party
for a game that is just full of mini games that can be from luck all the way up to can you press a button faster than the other people, this is a good fun game with tons and tons of mini games and of course the board game and a battle cars game. this is a maybe to buy if you have a gcube but if you like mario and are into mario party then this is the game for you.

It's all about the mini-games.
I have not problem with this game.It is fun but after a while playing the same mini-games gets boring.Other then that the game is great.

I really can't see what's so bad about this game
I don't know why so many people diss this game. It's a good game. It has fun mini-games, and cool board maps with the exception of a couple. The Koopa Kid imposters suck, as does the capsule system, but other than that, it's a good game.

what a great game
when I plaeyed it at first time I hoped that I didn't waste my money on such bad game like it. But after 4-hours of playing, every thing changed & the game became the best & the most exciting game I had ever played spiecially with 4 players, you'll not stop playing for long time. the only bad thing it has is the mini games which depends on luck>But I don't think this will hurt my review mark :)
