Pros Cons
Amazing visuals
Engaging story
Epic boss fights
Addictive gameplay
Tight controls
Innovative concepts
Just plain fun
A simple yet Addictive game

This was my first foray into the Prince of Persia series, and I must say that I was not disappointed. The gameplay was flawless, seamlessly combining the agility, combat, puzzles, time control aspects to make for one of the best games I have played. The story line was engaging, but not overly complex, and the transitions from gameplay to cut-scenes were far more smooth than most games. The time control was also flawlessly executed, allowing not only use in battle, but also allowing you to rewind if you make a mistake on a puzzle, making the gameplay far less frustrating than many puzzle solving platformers. All in all, I would recomend this game to anyone who wanted a game that was seriously fun, but not overly complex.

One of the greatest games I've played in ahwhile

I got this game a LONG time ago, but my memories of this game are still churning in my mind with wonder. Graphicly, They did a good job on the CG cinemas. The in-game graphics also impressed me greatly; from the final blow of an enemy being sucked into the dagger to the effects of running over a silk curtain on the wall. I've played a demo for the sequal, but I'm not allowed to get it. I'm sure it would be better. Music and sound wise, they did a great job. That contemperary pop/persian rock was great. Not to mention the sound effects of battle and water sounds. I was very impressed and was hooked like I am now on Arc the Lad: Twilight of the Spirits and Final Fantasy X.

An Instant Classic

This game proves that even though Nintendo's less popular franchises may not be as critically acclaimed, some are still forces to be reckoned with. The Prince of Persia series follows an Arabian prince who was betrayed and sent to death by on of his advisors. Even though he met his demise, death could not stop him from getting his revenge on his killers. Hence, he comes back as a ghost with powers over time and gravity. The actual game follows the prince's adventures as he tries to dispatch his killers. The graphics, controls, story, and sound are all great, and I would recommend its purchase to any gamer looking for a unique, yet sickly entertaining time.

A Very unique game!

I like some of the stuff they put in this game, you can reverse, pause, or slow down time, and I think that's what makes this game unique. The controls are simple, the story is pretty good. I also like how you kill people in the game, you have to stab them with a special kind of dagger so they turn into sand when you stab them with it, and you also get a sword for combat. but like i said before reversing pausing, and slowing down time is awesome, if you get hurt, or if you do something wrong, you can reverse time and get your health back, or you can get as many chances as you want if you don't do something right, and slowing down time is cool because its sweet watching something die in slow motion. thats what i have to say about this game. Very Unique.
