Pokemon Colosseum - GameCube

It's only good for one reason

Pokemon Colosseum is not a fun game it's boring to be all the time battleing in double battles(even though it can be used for stadegy). The only reason this game is good is to get Pokemon that can not be obtained without this game. And the bonus dick is allso a help for the other games. The attacks in the battles look very stupid, having the tecnology of the Gamecube they could of made that the attacks look better, they tried to make it look like the attacks in the Gameboy/Game Boy Advance games.

Pokemon Colosseum - GameCube

So boring it bores itself.

This game is extremely boring, and one of the most boring games I ever played. You play as an unnamed thug in a hideout in the desert. You witness a device that can snag other trainers' pokemon, then you steal it and go on your merry way. The graphics are alright, the sound is alright, the control is normal, but the gameplay sucks. Why? Here's why:you run very, very, very slow. It ruins seventy percent of the whole gameplay! The rest of the flaws is the battling. All you do is battle, and battles come so unexpectedbly and at times when you wish you can quit, you have to get to a save point, but before that, more...effin'...battles!! So it's stressful in this case, other than Pokemon Battle Revolution for Wii. And what's worse: the game's sequel, XD:Gale of Darkness,is even more boring. So avoid this game. If it crosses your path, feed it to your Charizard.

Pokemon Colosseum - GameCube

is it as good as some earlier pokemon games

personally i think that pokemon colusuim is a bit low profile.me,my family and friends all agree gold silver and crystal are all better. Its just not as good the thought of shadow pokemon is good but the way they hav fitted to a story is rubbish.Where poemon XD gale of darkness is so much better because the theme and the story is fits in s it makes sense and well lets face it you have more fun. between a few new advanced things that should have been in coulisuim e.g the radar to find Mirror B.

Pokemon Colosseum - GameCube

pokemon for GC!

People rate this game low but it interested me playing it after many GBA pokemon games. It was a refreshing twist being able to catch shadow pokemon like entei, sneasel etc.Yeah sure it could be better but some change is better

Pokemon Colosseum - GameCube

Nintendo tries to bring the Pokemon franchise to the Gamecube

I remember buying this game when it was $50 bucks and I hated it with such a passion. I give Nintendo credit for trying something different with the pokemon franchise. Instead of capturing wild pokemon you capture shadow pokemon, which are evil pokemon whose hearts are close and need to be reopened to be turned back to normal. You get to catch pokemon that are only able to catch in the game outside of the gba pokemon games and trade with the pokemon games. I beat the game all by myself in like three days or less and it just lost all replay value t me. This game will probably please hardcore pokemon fans who enjoy the show and the movies but if you have been playing since the beginning say away from the gc games and stick with gba games.
