Summary

Game Description

X-Men Legends by Activision for GameCube is an action-RPG where you pick and customize a team of X-Men and work together to combat evil and protect the fate of mankind. Choose from a roster of more than 12 X-Men characters -- including Wolverine, Gambit, and Storm -- to create, customize, and control teams of four (you can switch instantly between team members in the heat of the battle) in real-time, as you solve puzzles, overcome obstacles, and confront enemies. Special moves and super powers can even be combined to increase enemy damage and gain more experience. X-Men Legends also features Multiplayer Story and Skirmish Modes.

I liked the game a lot. i liked the action in it. the only thing i didn't like was the cut scenes when two or more characters would be talking to each other and there would be no voiceovers for the characters.

X-Men Legends, is one legendary game!!!

Ahhh... remember the days of X-men on the Regular NES that involved teaming up with a select few of X-men members. Well this title is definetly a great game for the masses. It has alot of characters to choose from and the game has great voice acting.

starts out good...

there is so much potential in x-men games, it was dissapointing to see x- men legends fail. XML starts out great, but gets lukewam, frusterating, rather boring later on. The main problems later in the game were the level design, dull mission objectives and stale gameplay. I would not recommend buying this game at all, but it is worth a rental at least.

FINALLY A X-MEN RPG GAME!

If you love RPG games and the X-men than this game is for you. Kinda like a mix of melee fighting style with teammates A.I. that actually helps instead of hurt you. I was in trouble plenty of times and had a teammate not helped me out with an attack I would have died. Excellent developement of characters and story with good graphics to boot. Danger room was fun with different missions but can get repetative (hence the 4.5 and not 5.0). Definately alot of fun!
