Soul Calibur II - GameCube

Great game!~

This game is amazing! The graphics are great, the gameplay is fun, and there's all the weapons and players to choose from. Also, good storyline, and a pretty long game. The gamecube version also includes a very special character...Link! This game is an awesome 1 on 1 player, and there's also alot of features in this game. I would recommend it.

Need better fighters

Better than average game. I would recommend the game to anyone that like these types of games. No real changes but new maps. Maybe not the best installment of the game but still fun.

When Will It End?!

Some of my readers will see this review kind of ironic since I just made a review for Super Smash Bros Melee that mentioned this game. Just wanted to mention that statement. lol I just got the game about a week ago, and I've been going at it ever since. I keep on unlocking stuff but when does it end? I've unlocked every character (I think), every venue (I also think), and every weapon (I'm sure about that one). Just about every time I go into Weapon Master mode I unlock something new and don't get me wrong, it's very enjoyful and exciting, but it's just like one of thoes movies where you go and say: When is the movie going to end, it sucks! Soul Calibur II for the GameCube, unlike the PS2's version, includes everybody's favorite elf; Links. Even though one character doensn't make that much of a difference in a game, it's still pretty fun to play a game you've never played before and be able to pick a character that your familiar with. It's a pretty good game if you like to collect things, or just straight up open up a can of woop a*$ on a video game character that you start to build hate on.

Plenty of Soul

Fighting games are so common nowadays, its not even funny. However, some of them are worthy of recognition. Soul Caliber II is one of those games. This game is wonderful. It looks, sounds, and feels like a fighting game should. Story mode is great, but so is classic arcade mode and multiplayer. The characters are each unique in style and form. Its also worth mentioning that each console has an extra character (Gamecube is my favorite because it has Link). Combat is awesome, requiring both brains and brawn. If you like fighting games and are tired of crappy Naruto games, pick up this instant classic and you'll be hooked.

Link enters the ring once again!!

Soul Calibur II is one of the best fighting games on the Gamecube and probably one of the best looking fighting games seen in awhile. The graphics and sound are well done and look like they are straight from the aracade. The only real issue is that Link isn't a fast fighter and best adavantage is distance weapons like his bow. This games replay value is great since they added the weapon master mode and other special features.
