AWESOME!
Great game with a great story and controls. Bullettime effect was incredable as you fight though the streets of NY to clear your name and escape assassins out to kill you. Control: Easier to master then I thought, with pinpoint accuracy. Graphics: A+ as the levels really brought out how NY really looks. This actually might be better than Max Payne.

Great game plagued by mediocre graphics
Graphics: 3.5 When you first turn the game on, the graphics are incredible...then you go to gameplay, and they truly do suck. Maybe it just seems that way because I have been spoiled by Resident Evil and Metroid Prime (not to mention Animal Crossing). Thestipper scene looks aweful, like someting from N64. Sound: 4.5 The voice acting is pretty good, and the weapons and music really set the mood. Control: 5 I love the way everything moves. The control set up is perfect, from the diving to the shooting. Didn't take very long to get used to either. Only beef I had was the dog, but that was so little of the game it can hardly bring the score down. Gameplay: 4.5 Running around shooting people. Do I need to say more. Blood goes all over, pick up weapons, shoot more, do the slow motion thing. Tons of fun. What brought the score down was the mini-games. They were okay for the first one, but they got repetitive and dull very quick, especially since some were ridiculously hard. Fun Factor: 4 Although there is alot of shooting going on, the mini-games and dog scenes really took away from this game. I usually don't think graphics matter that much, but after seeing the opening scene and knowing what they were capable of, it was hard to focus on the blocky everything. If you want senseless violence, pick it up.

dead to rights looks good.
It plays good to. I think the PS2 might have a run for its money. Although i am a PS2 guy, DTR graphics looks good and the gameplay is good. DTR will sastify the gamer's need to 'make some damage' to their enemy. Kudos to Namco for making DTR, and also hopefully can Namo make Tekken 4 for the GameCube.
