Enter the Matrix - GameCube

Red or Blue....How about none

As almost everyone knows, the Matrix was a kickasss movie. This game however, is not. Single Player -4/5 Red Pill, Blue Pill Ghost, Niobe. Which will you take, and which is better. If you are good at driving games, pick Niobe, if not, or you don't know what to pick, pick Ghost. For first timers i suggest Ghost, as you won't have to worry about where you are driving, and you'll jsut have to worry about the shooting. Single player for Enter the Matrix is pretty much substandard. You basically go around shooting people while avoiding agents, while using matrix moves in order to dodge bullets with focus. Overall, its so so, with a lot of backtracking or boring parts. I would not really recomend this game then to hardcore matrix fans, as it reveals a little about the story, although you cant play as neo, trinity or morpheus except during multiplay(you have to unlock it by doing hacking) Hacking - If your a computer nerd, than this is your area. You basically keep on entering names of the files that you want to get into in order to beat it. Note: a binary code is a computer code that involves ones and zeros. This one one of the funnest parts of the game for me, as it was about the only challenging part. Graphics-1.5 Not very good, a bit fuzzy and hard to see, but good for gamecube nontheless. Sometimes its hard to tell who the character is if you look at their face. Focus- The one worthwhile thing about this game is the focus, it allows you to run up walls and evade bullets. This is probabally the best feature in Enter the Matrix, and is probabally the only thing besides the characters (what happened to Neo and Morpheus?) and familiar levels that is matrix like. OverAll - 3.0/5.0 This game is pretty fun, although they should have included a multiplayer besides the secret, tekken like one at the end. Bad graphics and bad controls bring this score down a bit, but it is still pretty fun, especially doing matrix moves with the focus.

Take the blue pill...

This outrageously fun game is a great addition to the Matrix franchise. Even though the controls are a little loose, the game's great graphics, storyline, and sound more than make up for it. The fact that you can't play as Neo is a slight drawback, but overall, the game is great and will have you jacked in to the Matrix for hours.

Blue, or red. What pill will u take?

it wasn't what i was expecting. it had its up an downs. one of the main problems with it, was, the difficulty settings. Hard difficulty was like easy difficulty, so yeah it was a really easy game. But i despite the fact that it was real easy, it was alot fun, making it go in matrix slow-mo, that was a really cool feature. watching the bullets go in bullet time. (i like max payne's bullet time alot better tho). so.........yeah. I took the red pill.

"We need guns, lots of guns".

*Note that this game is also available for the PlayStation2 and Xbox* Well, I'm a HUGE Matrix fan, so despite all the average and somewhat bad reviews this game was getting, I bought it anyways. And I wasn't dissapointed! Gameplay 4/5: The game's controls are easy and simple to use, that is after you spend about 10 minutes mastering them! But after that, it's smooth and easy. Now, the focus moves have to be the coolest part about this game!! I mean, who wouldn't want to run slow-motion on a wall, then take out an Agent Smith with a spinning back kick? The idiot game reviewers who say that this game had tough controls must not be able to hold the controller right!! The only reason that it went down, is that there are occasional glitches, but I only experienced two. On the PlayStation2 version of the game, I hear it's worse so be warned. Also, the game is kinda short, kinda easy, so replay value is limited which will put this at a 3.5 Graphics 3.5/5: Well, yeah, the character models are good, but that's about it. I mean, I guess they're alright, but not compared to games like Resident Evil, Final Fantasy X, Kingdom Hearts, and Soul Calibur 2!! The totally destructible enviornments rock though!! But hey, it is Atari, what did you expect? Sound 5/5: This is the game's strong point! The game has over an hour of movie footage, both exclusive to the game and from "The Matrix Reloaded". The actors from the movies did their own voices, and the sound effects are great!! Also, some of the music is REALLY GOOD!! Over all 4/5: Well as always I actually calculate the score and this got a little over a 4. Anyways, this game is best for the GameCube and Xbox, and worst for the PlayStation2, because of controls and glitches. Yes, this game is short and somewhat easy but it's GREAT while it lasts. It's at least worth a good rent. "Jack me in!"

Enter the Matrix - GameCube

I had such high hopes for this game...

Even while i think about the latest Tomb Raider, i still think this is the worst game i ever played. The game itself fells unfinished. The only way you'll fell at least a little satisfied with the game is if you use cheats. Fighting's okay, but it'll take forever to get the hang of it on a gamecube controller. A franchise as awesome as the matrix deserves much much better than this crap...
