NHL 2K3 by Sega Sports for GameCube is a hockey video game with the following features: ESPN broadcast presentation (natural camera transitions, cut scenes, and overlay graphics create a smooth game flow from face-offs to penalty whistles all presented in authentic ESPN style); Franchise Mode (take on the roles of GM, coach, scout, and player to build a franchise that plays your style of hockey and negotiate contracts, make trades, draft hotshot rookies, and more); and absolute bench control (evaluate your team's skills, then put that knowledge to work by anchoring lines with key players and rotating your lines to create the matchups you want to see on the ice).
