Great game
This is a great game for wrestling and rap fans alike. It coulda been better, but it's a gr8 1st attempt. The sequel very much improved on the mechanics.

good fighting but a lame game
this game has fun graphics and cool characters and cool fighting but i just really dont like fighting games. this game can also be 2 long or 2 short. my longest was 25 minute for a 1v1 fight and a 1v1 game i played only lasted 19 sec. .. so i dunno i dont like it

Well, we have a winner!
Graphics: 5.0 You'd be very surprised to see almost life-like graphics on a wrestling game with rappers, but the visuals are solid on the wrestlers, not so much on the crowd, they look like paper soldiers or something. Sound: 5.0 The game brings the paper soldier crowd and the solid wrestlers to life, bringing rants, raves and all other matter. It does have a great soundtrack to boot! Control: 5.0 One of the "pick-up-and-play" varieties of wrestling games and boy you can do a helluva lot of stuff. What stood out in this game of rappers and wannabes of EA Big's imagination is that,as the old saying goes, "if white men can't jump, black men can't wrestle",while the great wrestling moves like the Death Valley Driver and the Chokeslam interact with the zany, improvised moves of EA Big, EA pays attention to wrestling detail and to wrestling itself, having a great storyline from begining to end. And you'll never know what to expect the first time you'll play it, just like some of the writers of the WWE.

DJV is great for a first effort
Def Jam is great, but just not the best. maybe if it had create-a-wrestler or some more secrets and unlockables, it would have been better. After beating it on the highest level, it gets kind of boring. Here to a better and much improved sequel.

BEST WRESTLEING GAME EVER!!!
i hate wwe and all that crap but this game was friggin crazy the best wretkeing game around good graphics great songs from def jam artists and the games got crazy special move the best is redmans
