Bloody Roar: Primal Fury - GameCube

Bloody Roar

Great game but its Like all fighting games, Your character and your enemy in one ring No story just fighting other than that it really fun

Bloody Roar: Primal Fury - GameCube

not bad.

Bloody roar:Primal Fury is not really that impressive and chances are it wont blow you away but still,BRPF offers inventive and entertaining gaming that fighting fans might want to pick up. Also, the graphics are solid, but the arenas could of used alittle more space, the controls can be a little bit frusterating for first-timers. Since the price has dropped significantly(it has been out a while) gamecube owners might want to check it out.

Fast, Furious and Fun!

This game, although flawed, still gives you plenty of bang for your buck (get it? bang? its a fighting game?) right now its about 20 bucks, and definitley worth it, graphically this is one heck of a beautiful fighter, so beautiful in fact, you might say it sets some sort of standard. Slowdown almost never occurs unless, say wo people perfrom their specials at exactly the same time and they both hit each other, which can happen because the GameCube controller can handle these with ease, in fact i learned to do the quarter motion from this game. Although not as balanced as Tekken, and some charachters were not designed well (everyone i know whose ever played this game strays away from one charachter) but the rest are very cool and you get to know them alot better through the excellent Anime` cut scenes. Although not as good as other fighters, if you like fighters at all pick up this one even if it is only for the coolness of being able to change into a were- whatever at will :)

Its a good game.

This is a pretty good fighting game for the Game-Cube. But there was one problem, what was up with only two bottons to fight? One to punch, one to kick, thats it. So not that many combo attacks. There also a tranform bottom to turn into your characters beast(which is really cool!) But what makes this game great is the movis clips. I have never seen such nice, smooth movie clips in a fighting game! This game is a winner!!!

Fun while it lasts, but then it just collects dust

Don't get me wrong, this is a very good game, but it's very slim supply of extras to work for, mixed with quickly repititious multiplayer make it a mere rental. The graphics, sound, and concept are even better than the second game, but as I said, you earn everything by winning in a frustrating survival mode, or by beating the insanely short arcade mode X times, and you've done everything there is in the game. If you don't completely beat this game in 5 days, you're either slow, or really bad at fighting games. If Hudson had included a more diverse amount of extras, such as the great Tekken ports, than this one would have more longetivity. However, as it stands, it's just a quick way to make a buck. Rent it, then forget about it.
