Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

This is an incredible title with an exciting story line. The sanity meter is a brilliant concept, and the hallucinations definitely add a lot to the game. Although the "book of the dead" throughline is a little hackneyed, it's a good connective element that ties the entire story together. The gameplay is what really sets this title apart, though, and the creepy milieu just sets the stage for a great experience.

good game in the used section

this game is awsome , i got it in a used game bin at my game store for 12 dollars its a good investment for the gamecube , it has multiple endings depending on your choice at the begining , and the intire sanity thing is awsome they should put it in more games , for anyone owning the cube should get it .

Insanity has never been this fun.

Pros: awesome sanity effects. Cons: characters are strange, finishers are not so excellent. The story is that you are Alex Rovias, a college student in washington, and you grandfather mysteriously dies in his mansion in Rhode Island. So begins the game. While in the game you can LOSE YOUR F***ING MIND. You'll hear some of the most disturbing stuff in gaming history. The best effect is the save killer. The real thing is your game won't be deleted. This is "the sanity effect"*. Overall, the game was my favorite GC game. *(patended by Nintendo)

NICE NICE

this game is pretty sweet...it plays with ur head...has a good story line...lets u travel through time without leaving the original house...lol basically its probably the best way to read a history book...lol...nice graphics and sound...i love it...OH yeah and u get magic too lol just about covers everythin that COULD be in any game...all rolled into one.. :)

New way of horror

this game offers a new horror experience. u have to be careful about ur sanity level or u r going to hallucinate..in hallucination; ur character will hear screams, see the place upside down, even the player will see some things like the memory card is erasing it self or the TV become mute. these thing r great. Graphics: 3.5 the game was for N64, that's way the graphics r not that good sound:4.5 control:4.5 f.factor:4.5
