A ruby for a Ruby.
I remember the exact day I first got Pokemon Ruby. I walked from my house to a little local gamestore called, 'PressPlay'. As a few of you should know and recognize my name now, you might know that I have a little passion for Pokemon. So I was bit excited about buying the latest Pokemon game. Well long story short, Pokemon: Ruby is easily the greatest since the original. It has a far more grandoise feeling to it. It draws you in with it's pretty colors, cool pokemon and epic journey. There's just so much more to do, side-quests and mini-games, and such. The region of Hoenn brings you back to those days of Kanto. It made me as excited for a Pokemon game as i've been since Yellow.

I have always loved pokemon games. I like how they are always long, and ,most of the time, have new pokemon.

Same Fun
Okay this is the same concept as the games before it. But the games to me don't lose anything. I'm a die-hard fan. Sure they could do better but don't look at the cons look at the pros. Hopefully the later games take baby steps toward a new concept. But at the same time don't lose what made it memorable.

Okay, this is getting real old, real fast.
The first Pokemon games were fun, innovative, and addictive. All Nintendo has done, for the most part, is stick with the same formula throughout, every so often adding a hundred or so Pokemon and a few types to the mix. And it's not working. If you enjoyed the other Pokemon games, you'll find this one amusing. But you do have to admit, it's starting to get repetitive.
