Metroid Fusion - GBA

Metroid Fusion

game is awsome! Stuck when you face the copied Samus. Oh well, I am doing well anyway! the game gives you a new way at looking at the metroid series and it does a great job. Very hard, but very good.

fusion. not from dbz

i loved fusion! the enemies were awesome and so were the abilities. i really liked how ridley came in. which means ridley has assured himself in the metroid games forever. in prime he couldnt survive as an x but he was one in fusion. anyways the x are the ultimate enemies. basically invincible, steal form, memories and powers, and have an easy name the write and pronounce. not to mention an awesome story line.

An amazing addition to the Metroid series

Samus Aran has been missing for awhile (with the exception of the Super Smash Bros. games). Metroid Fusion, the newest game in the series, encompasses all of the classic gameplay of previous titles, while still adding a new element. Set after the events of Super Metroid (SNES), Metroid Fusion takes place on a research station, recently rocked by a mysterious explosion. This is not your average Metroid game, however. Now you must capture the parasitic life forms known as "X" from your dead enemies. If you don't act fast, the X will form into a bigger, stronger, faster enemy. The X can also mimic other life forms. There's even an X version of Samus... The game looks amazing, with graphics far surpassing those of Super Metroid. The visuals are colorful, but still retain an eerie sense. The controls are amazing, too, but holding the R button to fire missles can be a little awkward, especially shooting at an angle. Also, the sound is rich, but the music doesn't feel "Metroid-like" at times. You won't hear classic tunes too much during your adventure. Even so, all of the Energy Tank- collecting, backtracking gameplay is here. Overall, this game is truly great. However, it can be overly challenging at times, and it's too short. It also feels too linear at times to be a Metroid game (you get directions from your ship's computer in navigation rooms). Still, it's a wonderful game, that both veterans to the series and newbies will enjoy. Whether you're a fan, want to kill some time, or are simply waiting for Prime 2 or the Metroid movie, this is a worthy title.

u gotta get used to it man!! all u guys talking bout difficulty listen up!

wow! speechless! this game is awesome on a level of superiority! with graphics that makes u feel like u r in the suit and running pell mell into a group of 10 monsters and making them look like space dried ice cream. and sound that matches every different times of the game counting emergencies and boss battles and just plain roaming. with control that once again just plain works the BEST. and the fun factor? with such varied monsters and weapons that r a blast to just shoot plus boss battles that r not to hard and at the same time just plain fun! i know what all u guys r saying with all of the shootable walls and stuff but u gotta get ur mindset on it man! u gotta think that if that door cant open yet and the only way out (if there is one) is back then u got start shooting /ball bombing/if u have super bombing to find where to go. this game is a rock solid side scroller that stands right next to castlevania aria of sorrow as the best in the business. o yeah and i just got the gravity suit and i am stuck. i know to blow up the roof to the red door on the left hall and go down that shaft and turn into ball and go into the hidden hole area and i am in there but how do u open up that door right there or where is the whole to get around it?

Gotta agree with SonicGirl99

The game is kind of tough if you're playing Metroid Games, not to mention cool. Just can't wait to get my hands on another game as fun as this one. I'm working on my gaming skills as well, so SonicGirl99, don't worry about it.
