Baseball Advance - GBA

Baseball Advance

Baseball Advance is alot like that person you love to be around but only for a short while. The Game is beautifly put together and the graphics are better than some early Playstation games. The Sound is ok and features cool play-by-play but the remarks are off whak and very repetitive. Controls are somewhat sluggish which make close double play near impossible. Overall the game is a good rental for a vacation or a bus ride but not a GBA sleeper gaming hit. Graphics- 4.0: The batters are very well put together and each has a very lifelike stance but the fielders are weakly animated and the pitching windups juts plain suck. Sound- 3.5: Commentary is ok but the crowd sound extremely lame and unrealistic. Controls- 3.5: The controls are very easy to get used to all exept the batting which will take time to get used to. Fielding controls are ok but are sluggish at times when the action is hot. Fun Factor- 4.0: Not bad, not bad for a GBA sports game but could use a few more stadiums and more responsive fielding controls.
