Crash Bandicoot: The Huge Adventure - GBA

Crash hits GBA

The bandicoot makes his first apperance on the Game Boy Advance, and dispite some flaws is a quite an entertaining outing. The graphics are excellent, especially the 3-d scences and the sound and controls hit the right spot. However, the game has its flaws, like levels that can get kinda repetitive and the whole game is far to easy, especially the boses. While not has enjoyable has it Playststion predacessors, CBTBA still has the banicoots unmistakable charm.

*O.K.*

This game was alright but I would not go spending my money on it. The graphics were pretty o.k. and the levels were not all that great.

CRASH BASH

ONE OF THE STRATAGIES OF GBA IS TO FIRST RECREATE THE CLASSICS THEN BRING ON THE NEW STUFF. THATS JUST WHAT HAS TAKEN PLACE WITH CRASH. FROM PS1 TO PS2 TO THE XBOX, CRASH HAS KEPT THE CHARM OF WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. TIGHT GRAPHICS, COOL SOUND, AND 20 LEVELS TO EXPLORE. ITS OLD TIME FUN WITH A NEW TWIST.

Another good Crash Game.

I loved Crash Bandicoot ever since I got my Playstation. His Simple yet fun adventures always gave me a reason to look forward to winter (That's when the PSone Crash Games were released.) Now the PSone is dying and Crash has begun to do platform hopping. First to the PS2, soon the XBOX, and now the GBA. And Crash hasn't lost any of his fun from the move. Graphics look good. The character models look straight from the Playstation games and the enviorments are clevely designed. The sound is the game's strong point. Music and sound effects are topnotch and the soundtrack was used from Crash 2 and 3. The control is the real flaw here. The controls are responsive but at times frustrating. Overall, this is not a game to be missed.

Crash Bandicoot: The Big Adventure

Crash Bandicoot: The Big Adventure is the first Crash game to be featured on a system other than the Playstation. And suprisingly enough, this Crash Bandicoot game is better than most of the Playstation versions. Vicarious Visions (the developers of the GBA version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2) did a knock up job transfering the bandicoot to the portable system. As with the Playstation versions, Crash Bandicoot: The Big Adventure pushes the limits of the system. The graphics are stunning and the sound quality is top notch. Sure you can "beat" the game in a few hours, but TRUELY beating the game (which involves finding all of the gems, unlocking all of the Bonus levels, beating each level's Set Time, etc.) will take a little while, keeping you coming back for more. Crash Bandicoot: The Big Adventure is a game every Crash fan should own, and even if you've never played a Crash Bandicoot game, I highly recommend you try this out anyway.
