  • Review: NDS-Guitar Hero On Tour

When you think of Guitar Hero you automatically think about having that plastic guitar controller in your hand, rocking out to some awesome songs with notes disguised as one of 5 colors -Green, Red, Yellow, Blue or Orange and battling with your friends via online. You could never imagine that a company could ever be able to pull off the same effect on a hand held console...well it seems that Activision has. But did they succeed? After all what is Guitar Hero without the Guitar?

Guitar Hero On Tour - Review

Now you can take it with you wherever you go.
Guitar Hero: On Tour is one of the best DS games so far.
Although it's a small screen you can still "Rock Out" to some of your favourite songs.
If that isn't enough you can play in a multiplayer-mode with your friends.

I would recommend that you get this game right away because of it's audio and multiplayer features as well as the fact you can take it anywhere.

Guitar Hero and Hand Cramps

So..... I was thinkin about pickin up this game and buyin a DS and the whole shibang. But I tried it out and was utterly disapointed as a long time GH fan. So I pop in the game and was impressed with the guitar grip thing at first. Like "how cool is this!" But after putting the difficult on expert and playin a song I found that my hand just wasn't comfortable. My pinky was almost useless. My hand started to cramp upm like all my hand muscles were all in a knot. I was confused that I was missing notes. Fast strumming was difficult as **** because there was no feed back at all. I was annoyed. And I can understand that the DS can't handle PSP graphics, but the fret board and all looked like a flatly, undetailed, dark, odd looking, scrolling piece of paper. For some reason there was this lag I never really got over. The audio I have to say was impressive coming from a DS. That I have to say was the only up part. Anyway, I was having some fun with the Ozzy song somehow, but come to find out there is only like 25 songs in the game. I then gave up trying to like this game. Seriously? Only 25? Guitar Hero fans looking for some portable version of guitar hero, go try the mobile phone version before this, seriously. Just spend 5 bucks and do it. Don't spend an arm and a leg over this DS version.

This game is awesome but......

This game is awesome but it has a few cons that I can not list. One is that if you play the game for about ten minutes then you're hand will start to hurt and cramp up. Two is that there is some songs that I believe do not belong in the game like " Stray Cat Strut" and " Black Magic Woman". Three is that the hard and expert difficulties of the game challenges the experts of Guitar Hero. Overall this is a great game but after two weeks or a month, you are going to get tired of playing the same thing and it will just start to get boring.( it is addictive and fun at first but you will get tired of it after a while.

cool game

Recently went on a month long vacation and picked this up so I wouldn't miss playing guitar hero and rock band so much. It totally did it for me. A great piece of innovation. I like the song collection although more than a few of the songs are repetitive from the other games. That in itself is a real let down. There are so many other songs they could have chosen. And I did sometimes crave the feel of the guitar controller. But this is a great addition to the series. The audio is too low.
