OBJECTION!

I like the Phoenix Weight series a lot. The witty and sharp dialogue, the weird characters, the references to pop culture, and the twists and turns. The Phoenix Wright games are like good books. Good, interactive books which you have to yell into to object, and books that penalize you for accusing the wrong suspects. With a game like this, however, there is little the developers can do with each sequel to refresh the gameplay, other than add new characters, and cases. This is both this game's strong point and weak point. Trials and Tribulations is the third game of the beloved series, and poses to compete, if not surpass the other games. One thing I'm going to point out, right off the bat is that this game is more of the same. This is good because upon completing the previous games, you are always left wanting more, and the stories, characters, and dialogue are always fun to tread through. So in a sequel, you're generally wanting some good ol' Phoenix Wright action with minor innovations, but more fine tuning. The bad, however, is the fact that with very little change after each installment, it is easy for the game, and the series as a whole to get repetitive. This doesn't really bother me, because I loved the formula before, and I know what I came for. But this is certainly something to keep note of if you plan on purchasing the game. There is a lot of reading in the game, but the dialogue is good, the tracks are memorable, the cases are challenging, the prosecutors are obnoxious...there's just not much more you can ask for in a hand held adventure game.

A fun game but very very hard.

First off, I had a lot of fun with this game. It was my first Phoenix Wright game and I can not wait for the next Ace Attorney game. That being said I felt there was one problum. The difficulty level. I fould myself almost going to a walkthrough every day. I needed it to find one piece of evidence that would get me rolling and usually it did. The final case was the hardest to understand because it has so much to do with people coming back to life. The animation is slick, funny, and all out cool. The music fits the game perfectly. Examining and finding clues was simple and I found that I could even spot evidence without having to actually use the examing first. All in all this was a fun game and a worthy addition to my game collection even though it was very short and extremly difficult it still gave you a ton of satisfaction every time you finished a case or even found a contradiction.

Definitly an improvement!

ok phoenix has a flash back new prosecutor ect. ect. this game is an improvement over the last but ITS STILL FOR BRAINY LAW SCHOOL PPL. the only new improvements is a new prosecutor, one flashback to phoenix and mia's past(that I know of so far) and three of the trials are not bloody murder's(if you call that an improvement you need help) but they did step up the hilarity, and in one trial people are involved that no one else can see so all and all this is a good game but needs to tone down the difficulty

After playing Trials and Tribulations, I've come to the sad conclusion that a real attorney will never have as much fun in the court room as Phoenix Wright. If they did, I probably would have made my parents happy and gone to law school.
