Game Description

The World Ends With You by Square Enix for DS is an action-RPG features a combat system and adventure set in modern-day Tokyo. The Stride-Cross Battle System allows players to control two characters simultaneously, unleashing special attacks with the stylus, as you collect a vast array of custom-designed pins, each with a powerful psychic ability that can be activated with the right touch or sound command. Customize characters with fashions and exchange items with other players via Mingle Mode, and battle with up to three friends in Tin Pin Slammer, a mini-game, via local wireless connection.

it's a really great game cool grapics great story and the musics good too. It's one of the best RPG's I've seen this year. I hope there's going to be a sequel.

It's only a little Noise..

Square Enix's latest creation, The world ends with you, is nostop action, and sometime brutaly hard. But it adds up for all of that. The game begins as the char., Neku, in the middle of an intersection, having no clue about anything. After Neku finds this pin, he finds out he's part of the Reapers Game, and even though it's good to chat and get information, the cutscenes can get legthy when you really want to battle. Where the real juicy part of steak comes in during combat, where you try to do swipes with the stylus on the bottom screen and inputing control configurations on the top. At first this is extremily overwellming, but once you get the hang of it (or put the top screen on Auto-play?, It's a blast, even when the stylus swips are sometimes inpresice. If you have played (and fallen in love with) Kindom Hearts, this is a really good reason to own a DS.

I am addicted to the The World Ends With You (DS)................ I bought this game for my daughter, but I have completely took over it. It's a really fun RPG style game, that has a really cool soundtrack w/ singing............ It's good to see something completely fresh and new from Square-Enix............. (8.5 out of 10).
