castlevania portrait of ruin is awesome!!

castlevania portrait of ruin is a all around great game. it has a great and easy to follow story line and it has tons of action. also, if you beat the game with charlette using the purification spell on the 2 vampires then you can play with more charactors.theres ritcher and maria( yes RITCHER instead of RITCHITER one of few typos in the game.), theres also the sisters and old axe armor. theres a dungeon on the game you get from beating a quest. its called the nest of evil, and i will say if you have mastered all the subweapons its pretty easy, but if not your in for a challenge. all in all its a great game and i would recomend it to all gamers out there.

Dracula's getting old...

this game is right on the edge of instant classic and instant failure.the gameplay is pretty good with nice graphics for the ds and a very gory kill animation for the zombies. the bad part is that often you'll find yourself returning to places you played at the beginning of the game which gets annoying ater a while and there isn't much variety in the enemies you face. this game is fun for the first 3 hours then it just gets "iffy".If you are a patient gamer who is good atfiuring things out for yourself then this game is right for you!

Portrait of Ruin Awesome Installment to The Franchise

Personally I loved this game and if you are a castlevania fan you will too You start off as Johnathan with the vampire killer whip which is basically the worst weapon in the game until you are 3/4 through the game and you have the chance to unlock its power and make it the most powerful in the game The levels are a challenge its like walking around a giant maze on several levels but it adds to the fun The graphics have a mixture of 3D and that old 16 bit feel to it overall it is a great game and I recommend that you buy it

It's hard to believe Konami's vampire hunting franchise has been around for 20 years. It started as a simple feud- the Belmont clan against Dracula- but its now evolved into a grand tapestry that comes to dizzying fruition with Portrait of Ruin.
