I've been watching/reading the News lately about the conflict in Georgia, and I must admit, it's kind of unnerving. Think about it, President Bush has issued a statement, telling Russia to end the violence in Georgia, and pull back. What if Russia doesn't comply? Could this escalate to something bigger? Anyways, hopefully not, our country is already at war, and god knows enough have died already.

i really don't think it matters what bush says, it's not like the UN will back him up on anything at this point

Yes, but it may lead to conflict if you think about it, what if Russia doesn't pull back? WW 3. Or maybe not, but hell who knows?

look there are 5 permanent members to the UN, Russia being one of them. georgia is still part of the UN, but they have few allies.
