Does anyone here practice any marital arts? I was wondering, because I have practiced Krav Maga for 7 years, Jujitsu for 4, and Naihanchi for 2. I have won 4 minor MMA competitions, and placed 1st and 2nd in two major competitions, respectively. Just wondering if anyone else studies martial arts, and if so which ones?

Krav Maga? That's impossible thats only taught in Iraq in fact its the combat for Iraq military only and anti-terrorist squads, how in the world are you practicing that? Me personally currently kickboxing 2 years, juitsu 5 months. I did Karate for 5 years though from 11 years old to 15.

When life gives you lemons, just say f*ck the lemons and bail.

Actually, it's the ISRAELI (not Iraqi) military martial art, and it is taught to Law Enforcement all over the world. There is also a civilian version taught, which I have studied for 5 years, and my friends father, who is a police officer, has been teaching me the Law Enforcement version for the past 2. I received a promotion to 1st Expert (the equivalent of a Black Belt 1 Dan in Karate) in May.

Oh whoops, really? I never knew that I watch a show called Human Weapon and they did an episode on that form and I was really impressed, I'll have to see if I can find somewhere that teachs it.

O_O I really need you to walk me to work in my neighborhood!

Photobucket I forgot to polish the clocks!
I took Hapkido for a while, before that I was involved in a group that was sort of a mish-mash of several forms. Our Sensei was a retired Marine with a black belt in, I believe, Tae Kwon Do? But I can't quite remember... either way he brought in a lot of guests to show us how different approached certain scenarios.

What? You are a total liar. No way you do all of that stuff and all the academics you told me in another thread. No freaking way.
