For me the 90s will always be about bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, No Doubt, Soundguarden, the Meat Puppets bands like Candlebox, Primus, Faith No More, Nine Inch Nails, the Breeders, Cypress Hill and the excellence of Dr. Dre's Chronic really carved out the 90s. Tupac's Dear Momma still rings in my head when I think back to those summers. The 90s is when Metallica went from Metal to hard rock. Guns N Roses was an unstoppable force but the one thing that could kill them did. Axle, you are a dumb ass. lol.

It was tough to turn on the radio without having to hear an Alanis Morrisette song or something from Oasis. Greenday and Weezer were also on everyone's play lists. Thinking back about it now the 90s were a great time for most mainstream music. Seemed like radio stations were willing to stretch the catalog beyond pop-rock. But quickly the 2000s brought Pop back to mainstream puke with help from 90s evil stuff such as Backstreetboys, Nsync, and them damn Spice Girls. lol. And of course that crazy chick Britney Spears.

This was my theme song of the 90s: The Toadies' Possom Kingdom.

No diggity, No doubt. Har har.

Overall, it was a cool decade to be alive during.

I'll always remember when I was working in a Record Store in Pittsburgh and bought my first MANOWAR CD. Kings of Metal. It was in 1997 or so. I have since bought every album they came out with so for me the 90s will always be the decade I found my favorite band. I also got to see them live multiple times in Pittsburgh and Cleveland. They are the one band that I drop everything for to see. I know every song. Every lyric. I can play a good amount of their songs on guitar. It's just one of those bands that you either understand or you don't. Guys that are into Dragon Force or Iron Maiden should give them a try. All the Heavy Metal cliches that you hear about are so true with Manowar and they do it with true belief...and that is what sets them apart. Their first album was released in 1982 and it was called Battle Hymns. Their latest release was Gods of War in 2007. They don't change for anyone. They've played the same of heavy metal since the beginning.

"Stripes on a Tiger don't wash away...Manowar is made of Steel not clay".........Fighting the World.

it's hard to say since there were so many. My favorite being Rage Against the Machine, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, and Tool.

For songs, I could list pages of them. There is always a song i want to listen to depending on my mood, but no matter what mood i'm in, I'm pretty sure i can always listen to Rage Against the Machine.

MKDR is the coolest. Bossiii gets hit by his girl, LMAO!!!
