Thats the question thats been in my mind for just around a week now, wondering if, after they finally confirmed it, MK VS DC could be the fighter to Marvel VS Capcom!

I'm actually a comic fan, and I've loved both universes for a long time (though after WWH and Spider-man 3, I lost faith in Marvel), but I must admit that I like DC's characters better.

My only beef is that they're taking out MK's staple! Fatalities! I mean, of course we all understand that there is no possible way that Superman could be killed by any of these characters, but still...

Thoughts? Opinions? Flames on MF and his multiple personalities? Go for it.

NO, NO, and NO. i don't think this will be able to touch MvC. i think they should have chosen to partner with marvel cause they would have been more open to fatalities cause almost all of there characters have died in one series or another. and some were quite gruesome. like wolverine getting riped in half by the hulk, or the marvel zombie universe. and i personally hate DC anyway. i hate it cause of the way the characters are portrayed and most of there characters are pretty much invincible. so you can throw any suspense about the characters getting harmed or killed right out the window.

In MW2 Shepard betrays you, Kills ghost and roach, and nukes DC.
Never. It cannot be done. Why? Because Marvel vs. Capcom is too good to be beaten.

Also, there are no fatalities. That, in itself, basically dooms the game. Oh, well. I'll still buy it.

I thought the new MK was supposedly going to be inspired by Gears of War. Did anybody else hear about that?
