So you have logged your 100th hour on a game and it freezes, you cant save, your data gets erased and / or you just put so much time into an RPG that you sold the one sword that will allow you to win the game.

Share your frustration. What was the worst Game Breaker for you?

Mine was FF2 and selling my bloodsword halfway through the game and not being able to defeat the end boss.

Way back when, I beat Super Metroid (SNES). And had it saved right before the finnal fight. So I could replay/show off the ending countless time's. Well though's countless time's lasted about a week because my younger brother came a long and saved over the game with a game at the begining.

Then there was also a time where I was re-playing Final Fantasy VII, and took the time (and there was a lot of time spent) to get all the character's to lvl 99 with all 4 limit break's. But I was at lvl 97 or so, and I was just spending somtime walking around and it had been so long since I beat the game I forgot where the first disc ended. So yeah I walked right into that whole end of the first disc. And then somhow it saved, either by mistake or auto save. So I lost Aeris and her lvl 4 limit break. And to make matter's even worse I decide to just walk threw the rest of the game being as I didn't have to lvl up anymore. And well I got to the end of the 2nd disc and relized I had lost the 3rd disc.

it feels so dirty when you spend that much time in a game and it autosaves and screws you completely. I just had Uncharted freeze on me last night and it reverted back to a save about 2 hours of game play before that.

The worst gaming moment i had was when my PS3 caught on fire.

I was playing SSBM for 2 1/2 years. In January of last year, the data I was working on for 2.5 years has been corrupted. I needed to start from square one all the way back over again.

I had all 25 characters, 28 stages (Classic Kongo Jungle was missing, was having lots of trouble with 15-min melee), around 285 trophies, Random Stage/Score Display, Classic beat on Hard with no continue (received Master Hand trophy, All-Star beat on Very Hard (continued a bunch of times, got Mew trophy), and a bunch of other stuff. And then, poof! Gone!

Two and a half years of hard work erased!

Vote Captain Falcon for President in the 2012 election. If you fail to comply, he'll do something very horrible to all of us in December.

I unlocked all characters in tekken 3 and my memory card stopped working soon after.

Man I empathize for all of your. From the PS fire, to the 2.5 years of work gone corrupt. We should almost have a support group for spending so much time on stuff like that to vent.

i lost 2 of my playstation 2 memory cards, a black one and a red... but i do have a blue one.
