I was thinking, and watching a lot of Sopranos lately, but what if all these deaths of wrestlers are a deeper conspiracy. What if the WWE is run like the mafia?

Yeah, this was in a thread, but I think the ideas behind this deserve it's own thread.

Someone threatens to go to TNA, and bam, you're dead and people just think it was steroid/drug abuse. It's perfect with the steroid stereotype...

All these recent deaths are a little scarey. Rick Rude, Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig, Big Boss Man, British Bulldog, Hawk of L.O.D., etc. etc.....These guys are all my generation of wrestlers and they are dropping like flies. Why is the Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man, Ric Flare and Hulk Hogan still alive with, so far, no health issues. These guys could be captains. Another thing, whenever you see videos behind the scenes, the WWE wrestlers constantly use the term "family". Much like a mafia. Do wrestlers take an oath?

And Bret Hart with his stroke. Maybe it could have been stress related. Mc Mahon was about to make him a captain and boom, he can't wrestle anymore.

What about the Lex Luger murdering of Ms. Elizabeth? Was that an order that got too messy to clean up so Luger took the full blame to show his loyalty to the Mc Mahons?

If this is true, I'm sure I'll be dead in a few days. If it isn't true, this would make for one hell of a behind the scenes fictional wrestlng movie.

Another thing to add, is this why Sting will not wrestle for Mc Mahon? He wants nothing to do with the "family".

I just heard about Chris Benoit last night and it really bothered me. I don't watch wrestling like I used to, but Benoit was one of the last wrestlers that I can recall watching while growing up before i stopped watching it(aside from Hogan, etc).

I had no idea that Mr. Perfect and Big Boss Man were dead.

It's funny though, my step-dad mentioned about WWE being like the mafia earlier, he said he seen it on Good Morning American and that the police or something is going to do an investigation.

People mentioned Kurt Angle still lives after leaving the WWE for TNA.

1. Vince may still make some money off that promotion if say: Big Kevin Nash and Jeff Jarrett are still considered in the "family". Vince probably takes 2 points off the top of every TNA pay per view.

2. Vince takes a little percentage from TNA so TNA can keep from being bought out by him out right.

3. Vince may already own TNA, but somehow Sting didn't even know and wrestled for Vince in a round about way.

4. Maybe Kurt survived his death. That neck injury was maybe supposed to finish him off, but since he fought through it, Vince let him go from the "family" out of respect.

Think about it, these guys are in their prime, and next thing you know they're dead? Sounds an awful lot like mafia type stuff to me. I'm going to find a list of all recent deaths. Maybe we can put something together here.
